All the four accused in brutal rape and murder of veterinary doctor Disha have been encountered by Shamshabad police. According to media reports, while cops are trying to reconstruct the scene at Shadnagar, the four accused had reportedly tried to escape and police had fired at the culprits at NH-44. All the four accused have reportedly killed and breathed their last.
Mohammad Areef Pasha, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen Kumar and Chintakunta Chenna Keshavulu were the four culprits in this heinous crime on 26-year-old vet doctor.
On November 27, Disha, was brutally gangraped and killed by the four-member gang at Thondupally toll gate on Outer Ring Road, Shamshabad. The incident took place around 9 PM when she was returning from work. Disha had reached the spot to take her vehicle and she had noticed that one of the tyres was deflat. She was trapped by the notorious gang who had offered her help in getting her bike repair that was earlier punctured by the culprits themselves.
The four men approached her saying they would help her fix the tyre. They forcibly took her into deserted area in nearby bushes, assaulted and killed her. Pouring liquor into her mouth forcibly, they had made her fell unconscious and had raped her multiple times. They had even taken her into lorry and attempted rape. After killing Disha, they burned her body at Chatanpally village under Shadnagar police station limits, a few kms away from the place where she was murdered.
Recent media reports emerged that Disha was burnt alive. One of the culprits reportedly told jail guards that she was burnt alive. This is yet to be proved.
Amidst clamour for ‘Justice for Disha’ grows, the encounter and killing of all four accused in the case come as a major shocker. The accused were supposed to present before the fast track court.
